Dr.Schwartz is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.,
1998) and Rutgers University (B.A. 1993).  He completed a "General Practice
Residency" (GPR) at the Peninsula Hospital Dental Department in 1999 and was
appointed "associate attending" where he continued as an instructor.  Dr. Schwartz
split his time between instruction at Peninsula and practicing as an associate in New
York City before establishing his Nutley practice in May 2004.  He is a member of
the Academy of Laser Dentistry.

Outside of dentistry he is a musician and a member of the Nutley Chamber of
Commerce, the Clifton Road Runners Club, and the Essex Running Club.  He
especially enjoys visiting his 98 year-old grandfather in New York City, who still
plays violin with his "musician buddies" and swims regularly at a the local "Y".
