Minimal Diagnostic Procedures
The office's position is not to impose services upon patients they don't
want. However, there is a small set of "minimal diagnostic
procedures" which are conducted for all first-time and check-up exams:
1. General Exam
2. Periodic Digital X-Rays
3. Intra-Oral Camera Survey (first visit only)
4. Annual Oral Cancer Screening (only patients 18 & above)
We hope patients recognize how this serves their interests and we
understand cost concerns. The office will also do its best to advise you
of any fees for services prior to your appointment. For patients using
dental insurance- as stated in the "About Dental Insurance" section-
please understand the office cannot defer diagnostic procedures in lieu
of insurance considerations.
